BIRTLEY VOLUNTEERS DIG IN FOR CHILDREN’S CHARITY

As part of Tarmac’s employee volunteering scheme, staff from our Birtley team spent a day improving the outside area for local children’s charity Heel & Toe. The team of eight volunteers spent the day helping to improve the garden at charity’s therapy centre.

Based in Pelton, County Durham, close to Birtley, Heel & Toe provides therapy to children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.
