It’s great to get away from the desk or out of the quarry sometimes. Our colleagues get up to a range of activities besides their day jobs. From volunteering in local communities and teaching school students about STEM subjects, to having fun getting to know colleagues from across the business.
Colleagues from eight business units have gone head-to-head in the Tarmac cluster 2019 football tournament to get active and have fun.
The tournament took place at St George’s Park, Staffordshire on Thursday 20 June.
The matches were seven a-side with eight teams in total taking part. Each team had eight players from all age ranges. Players who took part answered the call from their business units to try-out for a spot on their team.
