Our materials laboratory opened its doors recently to more than 100 students from Newcastle University. The Asphalt Materials and Pavement course students had a tour of the North and Scotland regional lab and heard how we test construction materials.
Allan Moffett, technical and development manager, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the students to our laboratory and explain the work we do testing our products. “All of them were very eager to hear about the innovations and testing techniques we use. It was great to see such enthusiasm from all of them.”
