Colleagues in the North East enjoyed a glamorous night promoting women working in construction.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) held its annual ball at the Biscuit Factory, in Newcastle.
NAWIC is one of the world’s longest running organisations for women working in construction, and encourages people to pursue, establish and sustain successful careers in the construction industry through encouraging opportunities to access first hand knowledge, share best practice, develop personal and professional skills and to grow professional networks.
Katie, Commercial Graduate, said: “It was a fantastic night on behalf of Tarmac to show our support to encourage talented women into the construction industry.
“With women making up only 11% of the construction workforce as a whole, I hope that we can help promote NAWICs key aim to inspire women into our vibrant and challenging industry.”
